|I loved English and Court. Enemies to lovers is one of my tropes so I was excited about this book, even more so with the glimpses of the 2 of them in The Lying Season.|
The chemistry was obvious in the previous book and even more so in the early pages of this book. I was sad about what Josh did to English, but I really wanted English with Court.
They both had some emotional things from the past to deal with and I felt like they helped each other with those things even if they didn’t realize at the time that’s what was happening. I loved how their story played out these 2 hit me right in the feels, I even shed a few tears.
Court was swoony, in his own Court Kensington way and English was a whole lot of sassy the perfect combination for an entertaining enemies to lovers read.
I will be anxiously awaiting to see how Camden and Katherine’s story plays out.
