BLURBWhatβs the actual last thing youβd ever want your executive assistant to see you doing the morning after you had hot, drunk, angry sex with her in a terrible hotel room? Dancing around your terrible hotel room to βCome and Get Your Loveβ like Star-Lord in πΊπ’πππππππ ππ π‘βπ πΊππππ₯π¦βnaked? Yeah. Me too.And yet, here we are. This isnβt even the most unprofessional thing thatβs happened between us in the past couple of weeks. The first was when I agreed to let her have Christmas Day off, but only if she goes with me to three family gatherings as my fake girlfriend. The second was when she caught me belting out a Christmas song on stage in the awful hotel bar.The third was the hot, drunk, angry sex that followed, but I do not regret it.And she hasnβt even found out the real reason I need her by my side this holiday season.I need to pull it together before I do the dumbest, most unprofessional thing of allβfall head over heels in love with the only assistant whoβs lasted more than a month at the job and claims to hate me and my moods more than she hates eggnog. π΄ππ πΌβπ£π π πππ βππ€ ππ’πβ π βπ βππ‘ππ ππππππ.Add to your Goodreads TBRβ https://bit.ly/AVBC_KLAudiobook is coming in December and will be narrated by Connor Crais and Mackenzie Cartwright!PURCHASE LINKSAMAZON UNIVERSAL β mybook.to/BossyChristmasBOOKBUB βhttp://bit.ly/AVBC-BBTEASERABOUT THE AUTHORBefore writing steamy romantic comedy novels, Kayley Loring got a BFA in creative writing from a Canadian university and had a fifteen-year career as a screenwriter in Los Angeles (under a different name). She mostly wrote PG-13 family comedies that studios would pay her lots of money for and then never make into movies. In 2017 she decided to move to the Pacific Northwest and write about all the fun stuff that she wasn’t allowed to write about in those PG-13 scripts. Now sheβs breathing cleaner air and writing dirtier words. Itβs an adjustment sheβs happily getting used to.AUTHOR LINKSInstagram | Facebook | Facebook Reader Group | Website | Newsletter | Audio Newsletter | BookBub
I am more of a Grinch type than a Hallmark Christmas movie person but when Kayley Loring writes a book itβs an automatic one click author for me so I dove into a piece of Christmas magic in October.
The chemistry between Declan and Maddie was blindingly clear on the very first page. The banter that they shared was amusing with all Maddieβs sass and Declanβs purposeful ways of provoking her.
I fell in love with Maddy and Declan as they fell head over heels with each other. The start of their fake relationship was the start of them opening their eyes to what had been brewing between them from the moment they met. Maddy was full to the brim with sass and wit which happened to be the exact mix of traits to keep Declan in line. Declan was growly with some hot alpha on the outside under the surface he was incredibly sweet, swoon worthy and a pro at talking dirty.
Christmas ambience, fiery chemistry between Maddy and Declan, add in witty and amusing banter, a dash of feels and few shakes of steam to create a read to make my Grinchy heart grow 3 sizes bigger.
