I had intended to read this book over a few days since it’s rather long that’s not what happened though. Once I started Break Me reality vanished and I was consumed by the Brayshaw world. Royce was a man that lives his life behind a mask with very few people having the opportunity to see what lies beneath. He had a strangle hold on my heart strings throughout the whole book. He was this tsunami of deep-seated emotions that roared below the surface only being released when he was overwhelmed. He was a d*** as in, if they gave out medals he would win the gold. Brielle was the brightest star in the sky with her shining personality to make you remember that good people still exist. To her very core she had the kindest of souls she was also full of sass and bad***. I loved the way she loved, unconditionally, wholly and with immense loyalty every part of who she was made her the perfect addition to the Brayshaw group. This was an insane amount of emotions. The intense chemistry between them was enough to ignite a kindle. My emotions were in a constant state of tug of war and my heart bled out on these pages. Royce and Brielle don’t just fit together, they complete each other. The relationship between the brothers melts my heart. They love each other to the very depths of their soul and they are one of my favorite sibling series I have ever read. This book is the very meaning of “save the best for last”. Royce and Brielle had explosive chemistry and a deliciously tense slow burn. Beautifully written with a magical mix of an enthralling story, witty banter, epic alphahole, ALL THE FEELS, and steam. |
