| I’m all for Bully Romance but Mia was a bully to people that didn’t deserve it and that made it hard to connect with her or even care what happened to her but then as the story unfolds I did end up liking her. I liked Julian very early in the book especially his unconditional love of his brothers. When Mia and Julian met the very first time their chemistry was intense and that intensity was more palpable with every interaction they shared. This was nonstop with angst and drama, there’s also hateful banter and some of the characters share some fun and witty banter that helps with the heaviness of the emotions because my emotions were all over the place, a cheesy smile, anger, wanting to knock more than one of them upside their head, heat and also utter devastation. I’m looking forward to what comes next for Mia and Julian but I’m also hoping for more from other characters in this world. |
