I went into this book already loving Lexi and Martinez and so of course their children had a secure place in my heart and from the very beginning M. Robinson proved her status as the “Queen of Angst” tears were shed very early on and that was the point I knew this was going to be one of those books that hurts, hurts more but also heals, you love every minute of it but when it ends you are left with a massive book hangover. This book was next level angst my heart was obliterated, pieces of my soul will remain on the pages for a lifetime this didn’t just hit me in the feels it broke me. Then these characters and this fast paced action and emotionally engaging storyline breathed like back into my feels along with my heart |
