| If you haven’t read the previous books in this series and are questioning whether you can just dine in anywhere and not feel like you are missing anything, you can. This is my first book by this author and also the first book I have read in this series, I never once felt like I missed anything and was able to fully enjoy the book. Kai and Jax lit my kindle on fire, the intense chemistry between these 2 was as clear as day the moment his name was brought up and even more so when their eyes met. Misunderstandings and lack of communication led to heartbreak and devastation for both of them, my heart ached right along with theirs as they tried to move on from the past. Jax was the hot alpha that dreams are made of, he knew what and who he wanted and wouldn’t stop until he got it and of course that was Kai. |
