| This is a new to me author and I’m so glad I read this book. It was an emotional road for these characters, and I felt as though I was right there beside Macey and Lincoln. Macey was incredibly strong; she had been through so much in life, yet she never stopped working towards what she wanted in life. I loved that she didn’t immediately forgive Lincoln for the heartbreak and embarrassment he caused her in the past. Lincoln was so incredibly broken, he was full of regret, self-doubt and so many other emotions that were strong enough to bring down even the strongest of people, but he was determined to make amends and I loved watching his transformation throughout this book. Lincoln and Macey had intense chemistry from the moment they came back into each other’s lives and I loved that the way this author wrote the story it feels like you are right there with them as they take the Long Road to their happily ever after. |
