Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. Hayden and Micah had instant chemistry and entertaining banter the first time they met. The second time was a disaster of saying the wrong thing, wild accusations and a sassy red head that was on the verge of spitting fireballs at the man she had begun to hate.

I loved the banter between Hayden and Micah because no matter how many times she said “I hate you”, it was the tension between them that made every angry word uttered more it was clear that it was their version of foreplay. Every second Micah spent with Ivy made me swoon even harder than I did in the moments he was all “growly, possessive, alpha” with Hayden.

Hayden and Micah’s story was a mix of steamy, alpha hero, sassy heroine, witty banter and a little girl that will steal your heart with one look.

I adore the Hope Valley and all the zany people who live there. The friendships that are formed between the women in that small town is one of my favorite things along with the love stories.
