Loyalty.
Family.
The tangled web of mafia life.
We grew up together. Me, Eden, my brother Tristian.
He was always the safe bet, the sure thing, the good guy.
And me? Well, I was the Casanova, the killer who flirted with anyone and anything, breaking Eden’s heart again and again.
We both loved her.
Mind.
Body.
Soul.
Tristian was safer.
Better.
Could give her the life I never would be able to.
But things changed.
We changed.
My only goal was to protect her, making her hate me in return. Except once my brother wasn’t standing between us anymore, I decided…
It was my turn to claim what had always been MINE to begin with.

I have been actively reviewing books for over 5 years and Mafia Casanova was the first book to have me so speechless that I couldn’t write my review as soon as I finished.
I have read almost every book by both M. Robinson and Rachel Van Dyken, on their own they are remarkable, together they are unsurpassable.
To say I was excited for this book would be the understatement of the century, I turned my cell phone off and told my husband and kids to pretend I didn’t exist.
Romeo grabbed my attention then the moment Eden came in, I was utterly spellbound. Romeo is a made-man, he bleeds loyalty and breathes mayhem. Family first is the credence of the mafia even if following through takes a piece of you that will forever change who you are.
Eden very quickly took a place in my heart. She went from firecracker to sweet in a heartbeat. The magnetic pull between Romeo and Eden was electrifying yet there was so much more to consider. My chest ached with these characters, tears welled in my eyes repeatedly, I wasn’t just immersed in this book, I was drowning in the words. Emotionally this takes you on a road of heartbreak, betrayal to euphoric happiness and tentatively touching on all the ones in the middle.
In the midst of the overwhelming emotions there’s the easiness of how Romeo and Eden are when they are together. The interactions were intriguing whether they were angry or friendly quips you could feel the potency of their chemistry. Pain from the past, unanswered questions, secrets and the trail of tidbits woven in the pages had me anxiously turning the pages.
I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. The authors articulated a hypnotic storyline, an alpha anti-hero who lived and breathed for the heroine, a heroine that had lost her light but was finding it with herself and feeding it so it burned brighter. Soul-mates. Raw emotion, gritty realities, suspense, heartache, soul deep desire, a reprieve from the heaviness in the form of a sweet little boy that made me giggle.
