A few sentences was all it took for me to be pulled from reality, and placed directly inside the Moreno Mafia world that Ann-Marie Davis has created.

Charity’s Vengeance is a non-stop adrenaline rush from start to finish. Charity’s on a warpath of vengeance, and she’s not going to stop until anyone who has brought pain to her loved ones or thought they could take aim at the Moreno mafia were going to be met with Charity’s lethal brand of justice.

Charity’s character showed growth throughout each book, in the way she let herself feel emotions what she used to believe would make her weak ended up bringing her to an extraordinary level of fierce protector because at the end of the day, she may be the villain, but she was a villain who protected the ones who ornately broke her barriers and embedded themselves in her heart, and soul.

Her relationship with the guys is mesmerizing, you can feel the depths of her connection with each of them, but you can also feel how wildly different each one is from one another. It feels like there are 3 parts of Charity’s soul, and Luca, Nico, and Max are her soulmate to a part that belongs solely to them. Luca feeds the fire in her soul, Max feeds the fight, and Nico feeds her his calm.

This storyline is a level above all-consuming, each word is assiduously placed by this author weaving together a labyrinthe plot creating a story that will have you buried in the Moreno Mafia world from the first word to the last.

I can’t even explain the emotions I felt while reading this because I felt everything, and at times it hurt, other times I held my breath from one page to the next, my heart felt like it was being torn from my chest, but I also giggled, and I smiled with all sorts of flutters of happiness in my heart, and from one side of the emotional scale to the other I felt every single level.

Every book by this author is better than the previous, she pulls you in deeper to this mafia world that has become my obsession, and her storylines are wonderfully full of twists and turns to keep you guessing, and making you more invested in these characters.

Charity’s Vengeance was indeed an intricately woven story of vengeance, a fierce enforcer with a soul separated into thirds, and 3 men that irrefutably own a very specific part, heart pounding, jaw-dropping, tears, a bit of swooning, witty banter that offered a reprieve from the overwhelming emotions, and heaviness of the storyline, and some sweltering steamy moments.
