I was monumentally excited to dive into Reign of a King, I mean, Jonathan King! I woke up this morning turned off my phone in order to take away all possible distractions to become immersed in all things Jonathan ******* King. Jonathan and Aurora had blistering chemistry from the very start which grew exceedingly hotter on every page. Aurora is the eye of a hurricane bringing chaos to Jonathanโs controlled world. Auroraโs defiance seems to irritate Jonathan as much as it intrigues him the combination leads to some exquisitely steamy scenes and a lingering feeling of the connection they share being more than physical. Jonathan is the possessive, alpha, anti-hero that we know is all wrong except we fall in love with the bad and whatโs hidden deep within their black heart. Reign of a King is unequivocally my top read of 2020. The cosmic pull between Jonathan and Aurora got my attention soon after I was mesmerized by all of the intricate details that were woven in the background creating a grander story. Secrets, mystery, suspense, a niggling feeling in the back of your head as you try to put all the pieces of this puzzle together. |
