| I have been looking forward to Katherine and Camden as they piqued my curiosity with all the moments they were in the previous books in the series but they were so much more than I ever imagined they would be. The chemistry they shared was scorching but it was more than the physical chemistry they had a connection that went far beyond that. They both had emotional baggage they were carrying and there were moments that my chest ached for them both as individuals and as a couple. The growth in these 2 showed in this book was phenomenal, heartbreak and healing were woven in the pages of their story that made them my new favorite there was just something extra special about Katherine and Camden that stole a piece of my heart. Katherine broke my heart so many times not with actions but her inner turmoil was something that hit me in an extremely deep way her character will have a special place with me, always. As always with K.A. Linde the group of friends that are more like family offered fun, witty banter and unwavering loyalty which is always one of my favorite parts of these books. |
