I felt the chemistry between Brooklyn and Luka was a lot stronger in this than in book 1. They were an inferno whether they were hating or realizing they had feelings for each other at any given point you could FEEL the strong connection on every page.
I was immediately pulled into this world of betrayal, revenge, petty paybacks, lust and love. Once I started I didn’t put it down until I read every word. Brooklyn and Luka took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I won’t be able to get off of it until I have book 3, Ruin in my hands.
