The Destruction You Desire picks up where the previous book left off, and from there it’s a non stop roller coaster of all the angsty feels.
It would seem that Peyton has had it with Luca and his need to say the most hurtful things in every given situation, she’s put her foot down and this time he’s going to need to figure out how to grovel.
I can’t count the number of times my heart stopped while reading this, and really you may want to keep a medic close by while you devour the conclusion to Luca and Peyton’s story.
I loved the change between Peyton and Luca, it wasn’t something that happened right away and Peyton made Luca work for it, with actions and not just words. It was as if you could feel that friendship they had shared during childhood make an appearance and that was what their forever was built on.
There were of course all sorts of twists and turns that will keep you glued to your kindle from start to finish. My heart ached for not only Luca and Peyton, but everyone connected to them. There was so much heartbreak and despair woven into each of their lives for varying reasons that it was impossible not to feel their emotions as you read this story.
The Destruction You Desire was an all-consuming page turner from start to finish. An exhilarating blend of soul searing chemistry, an alpha-hole hero, a strong sassy heroine, raw emotions that bleed straight into your heart, hair raising twists, heart palpitating turns, steam, and addictive intrigue as to what’s to come.
