The final book in the Convenience Trilogy was a roller coaster ride of drama and angst for Luca and Brooklyn some of which the two could have avoided with better communication.
It felt like Luca and Brooklyn had a deeper connection in The Ruin even in the times that they could have saved a lot by reacting better to some scenarios you could still feel how deeply their emotions for each other were. Luca and Brooklyn grew so much through this trilogy as individuals and as a couple on their way to their happily ever after.
