This book was everything, romance, slow burn, witty banter, swoon, giggles the perfect combination for an entertaining read. I loved Eli and Cami.
Although this is fiction it dealt with the very real pandemic that the world is facing right now. The fear, the anxiety, the confusion and conflicting information we are all receiving. All the different emotions and fears that these characters felt are ones I have experienced, it provided me with a level of comfort I wasn’t expecting.
I have spent my Monday wrapped up in a completely made up world with a lot more realistic feel than any other romance I have ever read which brings me to another thing I wasn’t expecting, Eli has a Doberman which really hit my feels since 5 weeks ago today my Doberman passed away unexpectedly.
This book will always have a piece of my heart, it had the words my head and heart needed to restore some hope that I have had trouble feeling lately.
