I didnโt think it was possible but it seems each book in the Rebels at Sterling Prep keep getting better. I have been looking forward to Connerโs book, he had such a different personality compared to his brothers that it had amped up my curiosity, the Jagger that was seemed lighter than his brothers, yet there was a piece to the Connor puzzle that we didnโt have, until we did. My emotions became invested Conner and Kennedyโs story in the very first chapter. Their pain vibrated through my kindle sending an electric current straight to my soul. They shared a past and were once best friends, yet, feelings and miscommunications sent their lives on a path of anguish, Torment, and this ache of knowing that the other half of your soul was missing. Connor is the calm Jagger, the one thatโs ready with a joke to wipe the sad look off someoneโs face, but the moment Kennedy is back in his life, heโs the Jagger ready to scorch the earth to make anyone who hurt her pay. Kennedy was feisty with an inner strength that astonished me, no matter how many times life knocked her down, she wasnโt going to stay down. The relationship between the Jagger brothers, Hadley, and Remi is filled with unfaltering loyalty, understanding, and love. When they stand at each otherโs side without hesitation for any reason, these characters and world keep another fraction of my heart . From chapter one I felt as though my fingers and eyes were glued to my kindle, I physically couldnโt put this book down, Conner and Kennedyโs story is enthralling. Their intoxicating chemistry, the fire of their interactions, intertwined with raw emotions, and a touch of suspense, and red-hot steam. |
