I was excited about Gray and Delilah’s story because of the little bits in the previous books you could tell there was something between them. This book completely blew up any previous notions I had of the connection Gray and Delilah shared. It was a connection that was apparent from the very start and with every page they burrowed more deeply into each other’s soul. They had a rocky start but even in those moments you could feel the fire between them there has never been a more deserving couple of a happily ever after than Gray and Delilah they both carried so much weight on their shoulders because of the past and in each other they found the peace they needed. Gray and Delilah are my new favorite Devil’s Due couple. The storyline was alluring with the ferocity of Delilah and Gray’s connection and the high stakes endeavor they were a part of had my feels all over the place, delectably steamy scenes, moments I was on the edge of my seat holding my breath while my heart was racing reading nonstop from the first page to the last. |
